Rabsky Group

The Brooklyn-based Rabsky Group is a residential development company that Simon Dushinsky and Isaac Rabinowitz founded. The group began by building residential projects in the Hasidic neighborhoods of Brooklyn, and expanded into larger-scale development projects as the borough experienced a resurgence in the last two decades.

Its holdings as of 2021 included more than 20 rental buildings in Brooklyn, as well as a variety of completed condo projects, including a six-building complex along the Williamsburg waterfront; condominium buildings at 505 Flushing Avenue; and 200 Wallabout in Williamsburg, and the HALO LIC, a 26-story rental property in Long Island City.

After 2010, Rabsky shifted to larger-scale projects, and as of 2021 had thousands of units in the development timeline. That included an 80-story tower at 625 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn, with 900 units planned; a 500-unit development at the former Rheingold Brewery site in Bushwick; and an eight-building complex in the Broadway Triangle, which has been met with community and legal opposition. A total of 1,165 units have been proposed for the site, which sits at the intersection of three Brooklyn neighborhoods.

Rabinowitz, who also goes by Yadler, and Dushinsky, are members of Hasidic communities in Williamsburg, and frequently partner with other Hasidic developers, including Joel Gluck’s Spencer Equity, which is a partner at 625 Fulton and the Broadway Triangle development, and Yoel Goldman’s All Year Management.
