Craig Deitelzweig was, as of June 2021, the president and chief executive of commercial real estate owner and operator Marx Realty, a position he has held since 2017.
Marx Realty’s assets in its core markets of New York, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta include 10 Grand Central, 545 Madison Avenue, 430 Park Avenue, 1307 New York Avenue, and 207-211 Peach Street. All totaled, Marx controls more than 4.3 million square feet in 70 assets in 16 states.
Marx, a division of Merchants’ National Properties, has become well known under Deitelzweig’s leadership for innovative and healthful design, something that the CEO has said came in particularly handy during the coronavirus pandemic.
Prior to Marx, he held senior roles in private equity and private development. This included the redevelopment of more than 50 assets, particularly in New York and D.C., according to Marx’s website. Deitelzweig earned a business degree cum laude from Tulane University and a law degree from Fordham University.
