Dental Company Inks 5K SF in Hell’s Kitchen

Coliseum Dental signed a 4,500-square-foot lease at 244-250 West 54th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, real estate brokerage Cresa announced in a press release.

The 15-year deal was signed in early June, Cresa’s Thomas Sullivan said. The asking rent for the space was $64 per square foot, according to David Zar of Zar Property NY.

Sullivan brokered the deal on behalf of Coliseum Dental, while David Zar and Dario Zar handled the transaction in-house for the landlord. 

The dental company will move into the building between Broadway and Eighth Avenue by fall 2019. Their current office, 1841 Broadway—which is half a mile away from their new location—is set to be torn down and redeveloped, the release stated.

“Our client wanted to remain close to Columbus Circle area, where it has had its practice for more than 15 years,” Sullivan said in a prepared statement. “The new offices are in a well-positioned building in Columbus Circle, with excellent public transportation accessibility for the practice’s existing and new patients.”

The 163,000-square-foot building underwent a renovation last year, the Commercial Observer reported. Coliseum Dental is the eighth lease that has been signed this year, David Zar said. Zar declined to comment on the transaction. 

Other tenants in the 13-story building include Tarisio Auction, Magnolia Bakery and Crunch Fitness.
