Coworking giant WeWork has signed a lease for 25,000 square feet, spanning the entire fourth and fifth floors of Hudson Square building, a source with knowledge of the deal confirmed to Commercial Observer.

WeWork took the space at Centaur Properties’ nine-story 609 Greenwich Street between Leroy and Clarkson Streets, as The Real Deal first reported.

A spokesman for WeWork—which last week unveiled details about a new suite of services called “HQ by WeWork,” geared toward midsize tenants—declined to comment and Seth Peichert, the head of asset management for Centaur, didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment. Newmark (NMRK) Knight Frank’s Daniel Levine said he represented Centaur, but declined to comment.

Centaur bought the building in 2004 for $23 million, property records indicate. Tenants include fashion designer The Row, jeweler Andin International and production group ITV Studios. CO reported in 2013 that ITV Studios expanded its presence in the building from just the ninth floor to half of the fourth floor.
