One iota, a tech platform geared to retailers, signed a six year lease for 8,000 square feet of office space in the Pacific Design Center, Green Building at 700 North San Vicente Boulevard in West Hollywood earlier this month, according to an official release.

“We are delighted to welcome this bright young tech company to the PDC,” Charles S. Cohen, CEO and president of Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation, the owner, developer and manager of the property said in the statement.

Marc Horowitz, Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation’s senior vice president and national director of leasing, represented the landlord in the transaction, while Michael Shuken of Savills Studley represented the tenant.

Horowitz told Commercial Observer One iota is relocating from 6565 Sunset Boulevard and will be taking over part of the third floor starting in the fourth quarter of this year. The asking rent for the space was $4.10 per square foot, he said.

One iota chose the building Horowitz said because of the property’s creative atmosphere, central location, campus and “synergy with other companies located in the complex.”  Tenants at the nine-story Pelli Clarke Pelli designed building include Dan Klores Communications, Cedars-Sinai and Den of Thieves.

Initially developed in 1975 and designed by Cesar Pelli as a single standalone structure starting with the Blue Building, the Green Building was the second component of the PDC campus to be built in 1988, with a third phase, the Red Building, completing the campus in 2012.

Tenant amenities across the 1.6 million-square-foot, multi-use PDC campus, including a Michael Graves-designed fitness facility, two Wolfgang Puck restaurants and 294 seat film venue and reception facility.
