A new medical and wellness center will open their first office in Savanna’s 1375 Broadway.
Founded by four doctors, Every Woman Wellness LLC will provide healthcare, minor procedures, and wellness related activities to women. The center will be in a 6,000-square foot-office on the fifth floor of 1375 Broadway. A ladies wear manufacturer, Necessary Objects Ltd., signed a ten year, 4,000-square-foot lease in the neighboring office on the fifth floor.
“The location was absolutely part of [selecting 1375 Broadway]” said Cooper Kramer, a vice president at Savanna. “They wanted to be near Penn Station and they were attracted to 1375’s renovated lobby.”
“Savanna purchased the building in 2010,” Mr. Kramer added. “We’ve done significant capital improvements. [We] completely renovated the Broadway entrance. It was several million dollars in renovations – enhanced street presence, made the entrance much more inviting, and increased the brightness of the lobby.”
Michael Thomas, Eric Meyer, and Martin Meyer of Colliers (CIGI) International represented Savanna in both of the transactions. Jack Cohen of the same firm represented both tenants as well. The asking rent in the building range from $45 to $47 per square foot.
The 513,000-square-foot building remains 91 percent occupied with a few units available throughout the building including the 26th floor, 5,000-square-foot penthouse. The largest available is a 9,000-square-foot pre-built available on the fourth floor with Broadway frontage.
The building, 1375 Broadway, is one of many in Savanna’s portfolio that includes over 17,300,000 million square feet in the New York City area. Its presence is most known in the Financial District with their 100 Wall Street, 100 John Street, 80 Broad Street, and 2 Rector Street buildings.
