Pinch Food Design, a catering company with tasting rooms, design workshops and a state-of-the-art kitchen, has signed a 2,200-square-foot lease at Chelsea Muse, the luxury residential building that opened earlier this month.
The catering company’s 10-year deal on the ground floor at 545 West 27th Street equated to approximately $70 per square foot and will feature high-ceiling tasting rooms for the firm’s clients, brokers told The Commercial Observer.
David Berger of Bernstein Real Estate represented New York City-based Pinch Food Design in the transaction while broker Rafe Evans of Walker, Molloy and Company negotiated on behalf of the building’s landlord, Ekstein Development.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome Pinch as a retail tenant at Chelsea Muse,” said Erik Ekstein, the president of Ekstein Development, in a statement yesterday. “With their unique and artistic catering company, Pinch fits in perfectly with the eclectic businesses and residents of this West Chelsea neighborhood.”
