Where is Jamestown going to be in 2026?

By 2026, we aim to have refined a suite of new and enhanced product types, such as our mass timber and hospitality living concepts, and to have further diversified our markets and product offerings. Specifically, we will be celebrating year-round at the reimagined One Times Square, which will have reopened as a
modern-day visitor center for New York with a new viewing deck, AR-VR integrated brand experiences, and a museum chronicling the history of Times Square.

Where is Jamestown going to be in 2028?

By 2028, we hope to have achieved a meaningful and strategic scale of our portfolio and vertically integrated capabilities in both the U.S. and Europe. Specifically, we plan to be celebrating the ongoing revitalization of Navy Yard Charleston, a 79-acre former naval base in North Charleston, S.C., being revitalized as a mixed-use neighborhood.

Where is Jamestown going to be in 2033?

By 2033, we plan to have made meaningful progress toward our ESG commitments, including our goal to be net-zero operational carbon by 2050, and to have already achieved certain threshold improvements, such as reducing property and landlord-generated greenhouse gas emissions by 30 percent from a 2018 base year.

What business advice are you most tired of hearing?

That converting office to residential is the key to reimagining central business districts. It’s an unhelpful oversimplification that fails to capture the full opportunity of these neighborhoods and understates the challenges of conversion.

Have you had a lot of staff turnover?

We have been fortunate to retain most of our people. We are in a cycle that favors innovation, and people come to Jamestown for exactly that: to be part of an entrepreneurial culture and to deliver differentiated products and experiences outside the bounds of a traditional real estate company.
