Zip, a digital banking company, is relocating to a new office space, Commercial Observer has learned.

The firm, which specializes in credit and payment services, will move in April 2027 to Rudin’s 41 Madison Avenue in NoMad, where it will occupy 13,394 square feet across the entire 18th floor, according to the landlord. It’s unclear where Zip is moving from.

Rudin declined to provide the asking rent for the 11-year lease, but the average asking rent for office space in Midtown was $79.41 per square foot overall for the second quarter of 2026, while Class A office space averaged $97.22 per square foot during that time, according to Colliers data.

“Modern tenants look for highly amenitized and thoughtfully designed spaces, making Rudin’s well-located and refreshed 41 Madison a prime destination for top-tier companies,” Robert Steinman, senior vice president of office leasing at Rudin, said in a statement. “Rudin has built a track record of offerings where businesses thrive, and Zip fits into that ecosystem seamlessly.”

Steinman repped the landlord in-house alongside Craig Panzirer, senior vice president and head of office leasing at Rudin. Avison Young’s Joseph Gervino and Ryan Grecco represented Zip on this lease. Gervino and Grecco declined CO’s requests for comment.

Opened in 1974, 41 Madison Avenue is a 42-story, 550,000-square-foot office property just northeast of Madison Square Park. The building recently underwent renovations including an expanded and fully redesigned lobby as well as a 7,000-square-foot conference space.

Zip’s new lease brings the property to 93 percent leased, according to Rudin. Other tenants at 41 Madison Avenue include investment services firm Polar Asset Management Partners, investment bank BrightTower and talent services firm the Gersh Agency
