The firm will occupy the entire 41st floor of the office property, as well as a portion of the building’s 40th floor. The asking rent was not disclosed. The length of the lease is for 10 years, according to tenant brokerage Colliers. The average office asking rent in Lower Manhattan was $64.88 per square foot during the third quarter of 2026, according to Colliers research.

Webull is relocating from 44 Wall Street, though it is unclear when it will make the move. The company is expanding its footprint by 81 percent, according to Colliers.

“For a company at this stage of growth, an office decision is about anticipating where the business is headed,” Colliers’ Robert Gallucci, who represented the tenant on this deal, said in a statement. “Our long-standing relationship with Webull gave us a clear understanding of its priorities and helped us evaluate the options through that lens. The goal was to find a space they could grow into with confidence.”

The landlord, 140 BW LLC, was represented by Dan Appel and Hal Stein from Newmark. Appel and Stein did not immediately respond to CO’s request for comment.

Completed in 1968, 140 Broadway is famous for the artwork installed outside the Broadway-facing entrance, The Red Cube by Isamu Noguchi. Tenants in the building — which features a renovated amenity space — include public relations firm Zeno Group and nonprofit arts firm the Wallace Foundation.
