Dolce & Gabbana is taking 21,000 square feet at 551 Fifth Avenue, moving its headquarters from just across the street at 546 Fifth Avenue.

The length of the lease was not provided, but Feil said it was a “long-term” lease. The New York Post, which first reported the lease, reported the asking rent was $65 per square foot for the entire ninth-floor space at 551 Fifth Avenue, which the company will occupy.

“Our vision for 551 Fifth Avenue has been focused on creating workspaces that appeal to a broad range of leading companies,” Andrew Wiener, head of commercial leasing at the Feil Organization, said in a statement. “Welcoming Dolce & Gabbana, following the National Women’s Soccer League, reflects how the building continues to evolve and attract a dynamic mix of tenants looking for a premier Midtown location.”

Wiener represented Feil in-house on this lease alongside Tim Parlante and Kevin Driscoll. Louis D’Avanzo, Owen Koorbusch and John Fitzsimons from Cushman & Wakefield represented Dolce & Gabbana.

C&W did not immediately respond to Commercial Observer’s request for comment. Feil did not disclose when the fashion company will move into 551 Fifth Avenue.

The Feil Organization signed the National Women’s Soccer League to a  21,000-square-foot, full-floor headquarters lease at 551 Fifth Avenue last May. Other tenants at the 430,456-square-foot property at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 45th Street, three blocks north of the New York Public Library, include financial and corporate law firm Sadis & Goldberg and business law firm Valla Morrison & Schachne.
