Bungalow 5, a modern furniture and lighting seller, is relocating to 6,000 square feet at Thor Equities’ 933 Broadway in the Flatiron District, Commercial Observer has learned.

The five-year lease puts the retailer on three floors of the three-story retail building, with 1,500 square feet on the ground floor, 2,800 square feet on the second floor, 1,200 square feet of outdoor deck space and 500 square feet on the lower level. A representative from the landlord did not provide the asking rent.

“We are pleased to welcome Bungalow 5 to our roster of elite tenants in the Flatiron District,” Jack Sitt, Thor’s director of leasing, said in a statement. “933 Broadway will be an ideal home for this growing retailer with national locations in major design centers like New York City.”

The retailer is moving to the building between Broadway and East 22nd Street from its current showroom at the nine-story 42 East 20th Street. Bungalow 5, which offers furniture and lighting designed and produced by a group of architects and designers based in New York City, will join tenants, including chocolatier Godiva’s cafe.

Thor’s Sam Sabin handled the deal in-house for the landlord. It was not immediately clear who represented the tenant.
