Recruiting agency Grant Associates is moving to the Lee Building at 1825 Park Avenue in Harlem.

The workforce development firm signed a five-year, 7,000-square-foot lease on the sixth floor in the turn-of-the-century, 12-story office building owned by Savanna, the landlord announced in a release. Asking rent in the building at the corner of East 125th Street is around $45 a square foot, Commercial Observer reported last year.

ABS PartnersAndy Udis and Alison Miller handled the transaction for Grant Associates. Savanna was represented by Cushman & Wakefield (CWK)’s Mitchell Arkin, Myles Fennon and Omar Sozeksen, and a JRT Realty Group team led by Ellen Israel and Lauren Calandriello.

“Grant Associates provides a valuable service to job seekers and employers in New York City and as the firm continues to grow, leadership wanted to relocate its Harlem job training functions to an updated space while maintaining a presence in the neighborhood,” Udis said in a statement.

C&W spokespeople didn’t immediately return a request for comment, and Israel declined to comment on the deal.

Other tenants in the building include Carver Federal Savings Bank, the country’s largest African American-run bank, and NADAP, a nonprofit that helps New Yorkers struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.

“The property continues to attract tenants from a diverse mix of industries that see a value in establishing a location on 125th Street in Harlem,” said Kerry Powers, a vice president at Savanna, in prepared remarks.

Savanna recently finished renovating the building with a new lobby, bathrooms, windows, HVAC and electrical systems.
