It will occupy the entire 11th floor of the 27-story, 513,401-square-foot building between West 37th and West 38th Streets. The asking rent in the seven-year deal was $65 per square foot, according to a spokeswoman for CBRE, which handled the deal for the landlord.

Vroom expects to pull out from its current 5,600-square-foot location at 149 Fifth Avenue between East 21st and East 22nd Streets, and start occupying the new digs in the next few months. Within a year-and-a-half of signing the deal for its current office the company grew to approximately 70 employees from roughly 20, as The Wall Street Journal reported.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Jamie Katcher and Douglas Regal represented Vroom in the transaction, and did not return a request for comment via a spokeswoman.

Paul Amrich of CBRE represented the landlord in the transaction alongside colleagues Neil King and Patrice Meagher.

”1375 Broadway has undergone a major transformation over the last three years, which has catered to creative [and] technology tenants and offers a very open floor plate with solid ceiling heights and light and air,” Amrich said in a statement via the spokeswoman.
