reprintsCo-working company WeWork will reportedly sign another lease at Dumbo Heights, the manufacturing-turned-tech office complex located in the Brooklyn Tech Triangle.
WeWork (WE) will take 72,000 square feet at the 12-story, 225,000-square-foot 77 Sands Street, according to The Real Deal.
Last year, WeWork signed a lease for 90,000 square feet at 81 Prospect Street, which is set to open in August 2015.
No information on asking rents or which brokers, if any, were involved in the transaction was immediately available; WeWork and Dumbo Heights did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The rebranded group of warehouses, previously known as the Watchtower buildings and owned by Jehovah’s Witnesses, have been repositioned and are owned by Kushner Companies, RFR Realty and LIVWRK. Altogether, the commercial buildings, which were purchased by the joint venture in 2013 for $375 million, include 1.2-million square feet of space.
