reprintsReal estate law firm Konner Teitelbaum & Gallagher P.C. has renewed its lease for 9,750 square feet of space at 462 Seventh Avenue, it was announced earlier this week.
The company, which has been in the building for the past 10 years, will have its office repainted and carpeted. Asking rent in the 10-year lease renewal ranged between the high $30s to the low $40s per-square-foot.
Konner Teitelbaum & Gallagher P.C. has the entire 12th floor in 462 Seventh Avenue.
Steven Kaufman and Barbara Raskob of The Kaufman Organization, the property managers of 462 Seventh Avenue, represented 462 S.I.K Associates, the owners of the property.
Grant Greenspan, also of The Kaufman Organization, represented Konner Teitelbaum & Gallagher P.C. in the deal.
Konner Teitelbaum & Gallagher specializes in a variety of real estate specialties, including foreclosure of commercial and residential properties, secured and unsecured financing, debt restructuring, and representation of lenders, according to the firm’s website.
The law firm was apparently happy with its Penn Plaza area office space and wanted to stay, said Ms. Raskob.
“We built it [the office space] to suit 10 years ago, and the build-out was well thought out through and it still works for them,” she added.
The new paint and carpets will “refresh” the office space for the law firm, said Ms. Raskob.
Other tenants in the 185,000 square foot building include Sentinel Benefits Group, Infinity Consulting Solutions, and SHR & Simmons Jewelry Group.
Sparta Commercial Services, a financial services firm that has 7,137 square feet on the 20th floor of 462 Seventh Avenue, is set to move out of the building in November, according to CoStar data.
