reprintsKids Apparel Club Inc. has grabbed a space into the Garment District’s 34 West 33rd Street.
“It’s a quality building dedicated to the Children’s Apparel Industry,” David Levy, a principal at Adams & Co. and the leasing agent for the building, told the Commercial Observer.
The infant and childrens clothing designer will take 5,631 square feet on the fourth floor with expected move-in date in the late fall.
“They will be renovating the space,” Mr. Levy further noted. “[They are] constructing showrooms and offices.”
The company has signed for a ten year lease with asking rents at $39 per square foot.
Mr. Levy was joined by his colleague, Brett Maslin, in representing the landlord, Arcade Building Associates. Michael Beyda of Benchmark Properties represented the tenant and could not be reached for comment.
The leasing team for the building has signed several leases within the past few months including a seven year, 998-square foot lease for Eiseeman Co, LLC and a three-year 575-square foot lease for Enekony LLC. Asking rents for the spaces were $39 a square foot as well. The new companies will join notable tenants such as Bentex, Baby Fair, Sarah’s Prints, and Kissy Kissy.
In addition to 34 West 33rd Street, Mr. Levy leases and markets several other buildings in the Garment District including the Outerwear Center at 463 Seventh Avenue, the Fashion Accessories Center at 10 West 33rd Street, and the Menswear Center at 42 West 39th Street.
