The Organization for International Investment (OFII) has signed a 6,771-square-foot lease at 99 M Street SE in Washington D.C.’s Capitol Riverfront neighborhood.

The lobbying firm is expected to move from its current downtown office into the new building in January 2020, according to a statement from Skanska, which owns the 11-story, 234,000-square-foot office building.

“OFII represents more than 200 major U.S. employers that are integral to the growth, sustainability and diversity of our city and nation, and we are excited to welcome them to 99M,” Mark Carroll, an executive vice president at Skanska, said in the statement. OFII represents the U.S. operations of international companies and focuses on issues including foreign direct investment, according to its website.

Completed in late 2018, the property features a 4,750-square-foot rooftop terrace and a 4,300-square-foot fitness facility, among other amenities. It’s located in close proximity to Yards Park and Canal Park. A Skanska spokeswoman would not disclose the asking rent at the building.

Wells Fargo (WFC) and Bluestone Lane Coffee are among the retail tenants in the building, Commercial Observer previously reported. Office tenants include Pyxera Global, Credit Union National Association, IAM National Pension Fund and The Retail Industry Leaders Association, per the statement.

Skanska was represented by John Marvin Jones, Adam Biberaj and Doug McLearn of Lincoln Property Company while the tenant was represented by Jonathan Harms and Sam Abramson of Cresa. The brokers did not respond to CO’s requests for comment.
