Seth Hecht from Colliers represented Gordon Property in this deal, while the tenant was represented by Erik Schmall and Scott Weiss from Savills.

“860 Broadway is one of Manhattan’s iconic office buildings, and its location continues to make it a highly desirable destination for creative and innovative companies,” Hecht said in a statement announcing the renewal. “When a firm as globally respected as Selldorf Architects commits to another decade in the building, it speaks to both the property’s enduring appeal and the long-term strength of this market.”

Savills did not immediately respond to Commercial Observer’s request for comment.

“Our focus has always been on owning and operating buildings for the long term,” Tim Gordon, managing director of Gordon Property Group, said in the statement. “Creating an environment where great companies choose to stay and grow is the ultimate measure of our success, and we’re proud that 860 Broadway continues to earn that kind of commitment.”

The firm has worked on a number of prestigious projects, including the Frick Collection, the Chateau Haut-Brion — a 16th century estate near Bordeaux in France – and the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego.
