An entity of the Brodsky Organization has offloaded its multifamily property at 360 West 43rd Street in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood.
The purchase price was $142.5 million, according to a source familiar with the deal.
The 256-unit development on 43rd Street between Eighth and Ninth avenues was sold off-market to Atlas Capital Group, the real estate investment and management firm announced on Friday. Ivan Hakimian of HPNY was involved in the off-market transaction, but declined to comment on the deal.
A spokesperson for Atlas also declined to provide further transaction details, and Brodsky’s office did not respond to a request for comment.
The 23-story building two blocks west of Times Square was acquired and developed by 42/9 Residential, a Brodsky entity, in 2002, according to city records. The property spans 250,000 square feet, including 13,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space and a parking garage.
There are currently no available units in the building, according to StreetEasy. The most recently signed lease was for a $3,795-per-month studio, signed in August, according to the apartment-hunting platform.
Acquisition of the West 43rd Street property adds to Atlas Capital’s expanding multifamily portfolio, the firm said in a statement, which includes 15 Park Row in Lower Manhattan, 80 DeKalb in Downtown Brooklyn and the Denizen in Brooklyn’s Bushwick.
Atlas kick-started 2026 with the $112 million purchase of 250 East Houston Street, a 130-unit mixed-use building in Manhattan’s East Village, from Dermot Company and Rockwood Capital, CO reported in January. Atlas is in the midst of co-developing luxury condominiums at 80 Clarkson Street in the West village, as well as senior affordable housing at nearby 570 Washington Street. It’s also entered into a partnership to develop an Upper West Side residential tower at 200 West 97th Street.
