Home is where the heart is, and telecommunications giant at&t is quite at home in the heart of Times Square.
The wireless carrier has renewed and extended its lease at Rudin’s 3 Times Square for another five years, Commercial Observer has learned. AT&T occupies 6,623 square feet of ground-floor and lower-level retail space at the 925,000-square-foot Midtown office tower.
AT&T moved into the 30-story property, located on Seventh Avenue between West 42nd and West 43rd streets, in 2008.
“Times Square remains one of the world’s most dynamic and heavily trafficked retail corridors in the world, and AT&T’s renewed commitment at 3 Times Square reinforces its spot at the center of it all,” Kevin Daly, vice president of commercial leasing at Rudin, said in a statement.
Daly represented Rudin in-house alongside Craig Panzirer, senior vice president and head of office leasing at Rudin.
The asking rent for the AT&T deal was not disclosed. The average asking rent for retail space in Times Square was $1,400 per square foot during the third quarter of 2026, according to CBRE data.
The tenant was represented by Loren Baron from CBRE. Baron did not immediately respond to CO’s request for comment.
“Extending our lease at 3 Times Square reflects AT&T’s long-term commitment to New York City and to serving customers in one of the world’s most vibrant commercial districts,” Keron Incarnato, AT&T’s vice president and general manager for the Northeast, said in a statement. “This location keeps us connected to the people, businesses and visitors who power the city, while giving customers a convenient place to explore the latest devices, services and connectivity solutions.”
The AT&T extension follows Rudin’s April 2026 retail lease with jeweler Pandora, which took 4,107 square feet at 3 Times Square, CO reported in the spring.
Some of the property’s office tenants include mediation firm JAMS, advertising firm Spectrum and law firm Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton.
