The accounting firm MBAF CPA has signed a ten-year lease at L&L Holding Company’s 600 Third Avenue in Murray Hill.
The international firm, with 12 offices worldwide, will take 21,683 square feet on the third floor of the 42-story office tower located between East 39th and East 40th Streets.
MBAF was represented by Dennis Someck, Justin Myers and Conor Krup of Lee & Associates NYC, while L&L was represented in-house by David Berkey and Andrew Wiener.
MBAF is relocating from 440 Park Avenue South, where they had been spread across two floors, and the new space gives them an opportunity to consolidate, Someck said. “The larger floor plates at 600 Third Avenue allow for the entire New York City team to be conveniently located on the same floor. This offers many more opportunities for collaboration and a more cohesive work environment overall.”
Asking rent at the building was $68 per square foot, according to a spokeswoman for Lee & Associates.
The Third Avenue tower, built in 1970, recently underwent a series of renovations, including the redevelopment of a 6,500-square-foot public plaza. Other office tenants at the property include defense firm L3 Technologies and law firms Greenfield Stein & Senior and Aaronson Rappaport Feinstein & Deutsch.
