Booz Allen Hamilton Expands Crystal City, Va., Office

Global consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton is expanding its space at 1550 Crystal Drive in Crystal City, Va., according to a press release from landlord JBG Smith.
In September, McLean Va.-based Booz Allen Hamilton will increase its space by about 10,000 square feet to 84,000 square feet at 1550 Crystal Drive, which is located in National Landing’s under-construction commercial district, per the release.
“Booz Allen Hamilton has benefitted from this stellar location for many years, but this renewal means they can enjoy the exciting changes coming soon to National Landing,” David Ritchey, an executive vice president at JBG Smith, said in a prepared statement.
Deane Edelman, the vice president of real estate for Booz Allen Hamilton, said in prepared remarks that the lease renewal “reflects our commitment to maintaining our presence in this established yet vibrant and growing market.”
Booz Allen Hamilton was represented by Cathy Delcoco of CBRE (CBRE) in the deal. She did not return Commercial Observer’s request for comment.
A JBG Smith spokeswoman would not disclose the asking rent, which is currently undergoing renovations to the lobby and common areas. The building is 92 percent occupied, per the release.
