reprintsWorkspace provider Knotel has signed at the Soho Building, taking the entire second floor, the company announced.
Knotel signed a 10-year lease (with a five-year renewal option) for 17,258 square feet at SL Green Realty Corp.’s 13-story, 295,000-square-foot office building at 110 Greene Street between Spring and Prince Streets.
Eugene Lee, the global head of real estate and business development at Knotel said in a statement: “110 Greene Street is a premier Soho address, given its convenient location and easy access to transit.”
Knotel declined to provide the asking rent. But when men’s apparel brand Untuckit signed a deal for nearly 15,000 square feet of corporate headquarters space on the fourth and seventh floors at the property in May, the asking rent was $75 a square foot and the deal was for 11 years, Commercial Observer reported at the time.
Elie Reiss of Skylight Leasing represented Knotel in the transaction, and SL Green’s Larry Swiger, Jeremy Bier and Elliot Karp handle leasing at 110 Greene Street in-house. Reiss would only confirm he was the broker of record and a spokeswoman for SL Green declined to comment.
Other tenants at 110 Greene Street include mobile marketing firm Leanplum—which recently expanded to 9,700 square feet across the building’s duplex penthouse space, as CO reported—backpack and travel bag brand Manhattan Portage and Brant Publications, the Peter Brant-owned publisher of Interview and Art in America magazines.
