Sard Verbinnen & Company, the go-to public relations firm for Wall Street firms during crises, will move its offices to 65,068 square feet at 909 Third Avenue, according to a broker on the deal.

The PR firm signed a 15-year lease to take over the entire 31st and 32nd floors of Vornado Realty Trust’s 33-story building between East 54th and East 55th Streets, as The Real Deal first reported.

Alan Friedman of Lee & Associates NYC represented Sard Verbinnen in the deal while Vornado handled it with an in-house team of Edward Riguardi and Ryan Levy. A spokesman for Vornado declined to comment.

“This new lease will enable [Sard Verbinnen] to meet their current and future needs, which is essential in light of their continuing growth,” Friedman said in a statement.

A spokeswoman for Lee & Associates would not disclose the asking rent in the deal, but Commercial Observer reported in August that the asking rent for a deal in the building with affordable housing developer Omni New York was in the $70s per square foot.

Sard Verbinnen, which started in 1992 and employs more than 200 people, will relocate its New York City offices from 50,000-square-foot digs at ATCO Properties & Management’s 630 Third Avenue, according to Lee & Associates. It’s unclear when the firm will move.

Other than Omni New York, the PR firm will join hedge fund sponsor MFP Investors and financial planner Geller & Company in the 1.3-million-square-foot Midtown East building.
