Restoration Hardware Opening Outlet in Industry City [Updated]

Restoration Hardware has taken space at Industry City for an outlet store, sources told Commercial Observer.

The furniture giant signed a lease for 10,000 square feet on the ground floor in Building 6 at 34 34th Street in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

The new outlet store will open in the 16-building, 6-million-square-foot collection of warehouse structures situated on the waterfront in mid-June. Restoration Hardware outlet locations sell furniture, lighting, textiles, bathware, décor, outdoor furnishings, as well as baby, child and teen merchandise at a discount.

Jeff Lagowitz of Savills Studley represented Restoration Hardware in the deal, as per a Savills Studley spokeswoman.

Rents at Industry City range from $15 to $40 per square foot, depending on the size and use of the space. No other lease details were immediately available and a spokeswoman for Belvedere Capital, Jamestown and Angelo Gordon & Co.’s Industry City declined to comment. A spokeswoman for Restoration Hardware did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Restoration Hardware joins other home furnishing companies in the complex including ABC Carpet & Home and Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams.

A Restoration Hardware spokeswoman declined to comment.
