VaynerMedia, a social media consulting firm focusing on consumer brands and startups, is moving its headquarters to Related Companies and Oxford Properties Group’s 10 Hudson Yards between 10th Avenue and West 30th Street on the Far West Side, The Wall Street Journal first reported.
The agency has signed a lease for more than 88,000 square feet of office space for its 450 employees based in New York City, according to a press release from Related and Oxford. VaynerMedia’s headquarters is currently located at 315 Park Avenue South between East 23rd and East 24th Streets, and has planned to take a place in Hudson Yards since December of last year.
“10 Hudson Yards not only offers the VaynerMedia team a truly unique and collaborative work experience that can’t be found anywhere else in the city, but it also puts us in the center of New York’s next great neighborhood,” said Gary Vaynerchuk, the co-founder and chief executive officer of VaynerMedia, in prepared remarks.
VaynerMedia will assume one full floor on the 25th floor and half of the 24th floor, said Joanna Rose, a spokeswoman for Related told Commercial Observer. Ms. Rose declined to provide more details on the deal.
Ten Hudson Yards has tenants committed to 85 percent of its space, which consists of 100 shops and about 5,000 residences. It is one of Related and Oxford’s five commercial towers planned for the 28-acre Hudson Yards development, and is expected to top out on Wednesday.
Coach Inc., L’Oréal USA and German software engineering firm SAP have inked deals and are expected to move into the 1.7-million-square-foot tower in early 2016.
