A South Korean cosmetics store has signed a lease at 34 West 33rd Street, and incumbent tenant Tous Les Jours Bakery has inked a direct deal at the Garment District building.

Commercial Observer has learned that New 32 America is taking 11,032 square feet for the two stores at the 12-story building between Avenue of the Americas and Fifth Avenue. Tous Les Jours Bakery, which had been subleasing at 34 West 33rd Street, will have 7,619 square feet, while the yet-to-be-named cosmetics store will be in 3,413 square feet, according to Adams & Co.

Both leases are for 15 years, according to the brokerage, and the asking rent was $300 per square foot. David Levy of Adams & Co. represented both the tenant and the landlord, Arcade Building Associates. Mr. Levy was not immediately available for comment.

Commercial tenants in the building are typically in the childrenswear industry, as CO has previously reported. Companies in the building include Yoka Showroom, Babyvision and Babyfair, which recently signed or renewed at the 212,000-square-foot building.

Tous Les Jours Bakery, a South Korea-based bakery that sells French bread, cakes and sandwiches, has another location two blocks away at 31 West 32nd Street between Avenue of the Americas and Fifth Avenue. It has another location in Flushing at 42-35 Main Street between Franklin and Maple Avenues.
