reprintsCalifornia-based software company Pipedrive is taking a long road trip across the country to open offices in New York City.
The firm, which provides sales management software, signed a 10-year lease for 8,000 square feet in The Moinian Group’s 180,000-square-foot building at 450-460 Park Avenue South.
Asking rents in the deal were in the $60s per square foot, The New York Post first reported. Pipedrive’s new space will consist of the entire fifth floor of the 12-story building between East 30th and East 31st Streets.
Greg Kraut and Justin Grabell of Avison Young represented Pipedrive. The Avison Young team did not immediately return calls and emails requesting comment.
Moinian was renovating the fifth floor space with polished floors, glassy front office spaces, a pantry and upgraded lighting, before the deal closed.
“We think that they are a great tenant. We think they are a perfect fit,” Moinian’s Gregg Weiser, who represented the landlord in-house with colleague Ariel Moinian, told Commercial Observer. “They wanted to move in very fast and the space we have was almost completed.”
In 2012, OfficeLinks signed a lease for 14,000 square feet at 450-460 Park Avenue South, as Commercial Observer reported at the time. The same year, Fusion Learning took 8,270 square feet in the building. Other tenants include Merchant Cash and Capital, MPhasis Corporation and Midtown Cardiovascular.
