Elite Daily, an online news platform for and by millennials, is relocating, consolidating and expanding with a 22,255-square-foot sublease at 53 West 23rd Street between Fifth Avenue and Avenue of the Americas, Commercial Observer has learned.

The nearly three-and-a-half-year-old company, which was acquired in January by DMG Media, is taking the entire 12th floor of the building through a sublease from Tremor Video, which relocated to the Paramount Building at 1501 Broadway, a source with knowledge of the deal said.

Elite Daily will be moving from about 7,000 square feet at 333 Park Avenue South and 42 Greene Street over the next 30 days. The sublease on West 23rd Street is through April 30, 2021, the source said. The asking rent was $60 per square foot.

JLL‘s Alexander Chudnoff, Mitchell Konsker and Brittany Wunsch represented the subtenant and Adams & Co.‘s James Buslik and Alan Bonnett along with CBRE‘s Sacha Zarba represented the sublandlord. None of the brokers immediately responded to a request for comment via their spokesmen.

Adams & Co. is the owner of the 12-story office building which has tenants including Saks Incoporated, P.C. Richard & Son and NY Presbyterian Hospital Center for Special Studies.
