SoulCycle will open its first location in the Financial District this fall.
The 5,000-square-foot space at 2 Gold Street marks the 10th indoor cycling location for the company.
“SoulCycle is a growing fitness phenomenon and will be a great addition to FiDi where we are seeing high demand for lifestyle amenities,” said Sofia Estevez, executive vice president at TF Cornerstone, the project’s developer, in a prepared statement. “We are thrilled to welcome them to this bustling neighborhood.” Ms. Estevez represented TF Cornerstone in the direct deal.
The 51-story building, between Platt Street and Maiden Lane, houses 839 luxury rental apartments. It has studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom rental units. Its interiors were designed by the Rockwell Group. Amenities include a heated, glass-enclosed lap pool, fitness center, 9,000-square-foot rooftop solarium and real grass lawn with an indoor fireplace and children’s play room by Citibabes. The building also features a custom-furnished lounge space with two full-size billiards tables that can be used as meeting or office space during the day and rented for private resident events at night.
TF Cornerstone declined to provide asking rents in the SoulCycle deal and the tenant declined to comment through TF Cornerstone.
