Independent investment bank Lincoln International has signed a 10-year lease for an 11,869-square-foot portion of the third floor of 444 Madison Avenue, Commercial Observer has learned.
The Chicago-based tenant will relocate its New York office from nearby 360 Madison Avenue and pay rent starting in the mid-$60s per square foot, according to data from CompStak.
Founded in 1996, Lincoln International offers advisory in mergers and acquisitions, debt, restructuring, valuations and other areas. The firm operates across a variety of industries, including aerospace and defense, business services, chemicals, healthcare and industrials.
Lincoln International did not return calls requesting comment.
As reported by Commercial Observer, investment advisor ellis lake capital signed a 5,400-square-foot lease at 444 Madison Avenue last year. Earlier, Meredith Whitney Advisory Group signed a 5,500-square –foot lease on the building’s 34th floor.
Westbrook Partners, the landlord, was represented in lease negotiations by Paul Amrich, Patrice Meagher and Lindsay Godard of CBRE (CBRE). The tenant was represented by Mark Weiss, Rob Eisenberg and Nick Berger of Newmark (NMRK) Grubb Knight Frank.
