25 Broadway
The Albany-based Mildred Elley School will open its first campus in Manhattan at 25 Broadway, after the school inked a 42,000-square-foot lease for 15 years. The building will house the School of Health and Wellness Professions, affording associate degrees and certification for nurses and medical assistants.
Harry Krausman of Cassidy Turley represented the Empire Education Corporation, the tenant’s parent company. Eli Levitin of the landlord Wolfson Group and Bruce Surrey of CB Richard Ellis represented the landlord.
“We considered numerous sites throughout Manhattan, looking for the right location to house the first New York City Campus of our School of Health and Wellness Professions,” said Faith Takes, president and CEO of Mildred Elley. “With the assistance of Harry L. Krausman, we found 25 Broadway, an historic building that is playing an important role in the resurgence of lower Manhattan. With a responsive and cooperative landlord, 25 Broadway is the perfect location for us.”
