The Museum of Modern Art has been in the news for its proposed Jean Nouvel–designed tower, but in the mean time, the museum renewed its lease for its MoMa Design Store at 81 Spring Street in Soho. The 14,497-square-foot lease was extended for five years from its previous expiration of 2011. The space is at the ground floor and basements of a six-story condo building and across the street from Balthazar’s restaurant.

Joanna Podell of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant. Marvin Rosenberg of Colliers International represented the landlord, a local investor.
