Art Santry

Art Santry as of mid-2021 was a vice chairman at Cushman & Wakefield, a leading commercial real estate brokerage and services firm. He joined the company in 2009, and works out of its Washington, D.C., region. Santry partners with Kurt Richter, another vice chairman there, on most of his deals.

Santry and Richter specialize in tenant representation in the D.C. area, in particular law firms. In 2020, they executed 49 deals totaling 965,549 square feet, according to the company. This was despite the coronavirus pandemic battering the D.C.-area market.

The largest deal they handled in 2020 was for law firm Jones Day, which renewed for more than 205,000 square feet at 300 New Jersey Avenue NW. That deal closed in December 2020 and was the largest law firm leasing deal in D.C. last year, and perhaps the second largest in the entire United States.

Santry graduated from Hobart College, and earned an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business. He has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage.
