Jeffrey Bramson and Jeff Sause
Senior managing directors at JLL Capital Markets
Whether it’s a buyer’s market or a seller’s market, it’s always a JLL market (especially if your name is Jeff).
Jeffrey Bramson and Jeff Sause are both products of HFF and joined JLL as part of one company’s acquisition of the other in 2019. Now, they lead JLL’s capital markets team in L.A. in arranging financing for landmark projects around the region.
The team has a laundry list of recent financing deals at major properties throughout the region, including $84 million in construction financing for GPI Companies’ 201-unit development that will be integrated with its West End office campus in West Los Angeles. They’ve also secured $78 million for Alameda Square in Downtown L.A.; $55 million for the Shoreline Square office in Long Beach; $54 million for Olympic and Hill, an apartment tower; and $50 million for the Ace Hotel (the last two are both in Downtown L.A.).
The team also manages and secured major financing for major owners, including the office portfolios of both Bank of America and Keller Williams. Other highlights include major office, retail, multifamily and hotel properties throughout Southern California.
Los Angeles native Sause started at HFF in March 2011 as an analyst, and today he’s primarily responsible for overseeing and growing the debt business in Los Angeles. Sause specializes in sourcing and executing debt and equity investments, and he has raised more than $11.3 billion of capital during his career.
Bramson is the transplant. At HFF, he was responsible for overseeing the investment advisory business in Chicago as the co-head of that office, and he relocated to L.A. 20 months ago to specialize in investment sales.
Since joining HFF 18 years ago, he’s closed more than $13 billion of investment advisory transactions. Prior to that, he was a senior director of acquisitions and development with Tishman Speyer, director of acquisitions for Equity Office Properties Trust, and a vice president of capital markets at JMB Realty.
