Health Care Tech Company SuperDial Takes 5K SF at GFP’s 322 Eighth Avenue

Health care technology company SuperDial has inked a full-floor lease at GFP Real Estate’s 322 Eighth Avenue, according to a Wednesday announcement by the landlord. 

SuperDial’s 5,200-square-foot lease spans the entire 20th floor of the Chelsea office tower on the northeast corner of Eighth Avenue and West 26th Street. It is the largest deal among nearly 10,000 square feet of recent leasing activity there. 

Rent prices within the 20-story building were not disclosed, but asking rents for Midtown South office space averaged $86.38 per square foot in July, according to CBRE data.

Allen Gurevich represented GFP in-house in the recent deals, while CBRE’s Harry Singer negotiated on behalf of SuperDial.

The San Francisco-based company, which uses artificial intelligence to automate phone calls between health care teams and insurers, currently lists a New York office at RFR and Raycliff Capital’s 875 Washington Street. It is unclear whether the recent deal at 322 Eighth Avenue marks a relocation or expansion for the tech company. 

GFP’s 322 Eighth Avenue has also secured a seven-year renewal from nonprofit Institute for Human Identity. The psychotherapy and training center, which provides affirmative psychotherapy to the LGBTQ community, maintains a 2,652-square-foot office on the building’s eighth floor. GFP will renovate the institute’s existing space as part of the renewal.

GRP’s Gurevich represented the nonprofit in the direct transaction, as well as its newest neighbor, mental health practice Chelsea Therapy Space. The practice signed a five-year lease for a newly customized 2,100-square-foot office on a portion of the eighth floor. 

Chelsea Therapy Space encompasses providers Chelsea Therapeutic Space, Equity Therapy Marriage and Family Therapy, Kingfisher Marriage and Family Therapy, according to the landlord. The practice could not be reached for comment. 

New arrivals at 322 Eighth Avenue this year have also included college social events app DoorList, construction firm Promethean Builders and weather forecaster AccuWeather.
