An Italian American eatery focused on serving up rustic pizza will replace the 200 Fifth bar in Park Slope, Brooklyn, which shuttered last year after three decades in business.

Lilac, owned by first-time restaurateur Gloria Lopez, signed a 12-year lease for the 2,070-square-foot storefront at 200 Fifth Avenue between Union Street and Berkeley Place, according to All Points Real Estate’s James Monteleone. Asking rent was $75 per square foot.

Lopez, who previously managed an Irish pub in Midtown, said the planned eatery will put the pizza station front and center in the dining room, and focus on rustic Italian fare with modern cocktails.

“We’re trying to make it bright and homey, and make it feel like you’re outside even though you’re inside,” Lopez said.

Lilac will take over the storefront previously occupied by the sports bar 200 Fifth, which shuttered permanently in June 2020 after a months-long closure because of the coronavirus pandemic, Patch reported.

Lopez is currently working on getting a liquor license for the spot and plans to open sometime in November or December.

Monteleone represented Lilac and the landlord, The Abeco Organization, in the deal.

“Restaurants are coming back strong now, and spaces are leasing quickly,” Monteleone said in a statement. “It was great to be a part of this transaction, and play a key role in helping to rebuild the restaurant industry.”
