“We are excited to be part of the transformation of the Huntington area,” Mark Coletta, Aventon Companies’ senior managing director, said in a statement. “Fairfax County is known as one of the best places to live in the U.S. Aventon Huntington’s transit-oriented location at the nexus of major employment centers will provide an exceptional living experience to this growing community.”

The property is nearby the Capital Beltway, Reagan National Airport and Amazon’s future headquarters in National Landing.

According to the press release, “the Huntington submarket is experiencing a rapid transformation from an automobile-centric community with a limited supply of new housing to a thriving transit hub with a mix of uses.”

The seven-story Aventon Huntington will consist of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units and feature smart home technology. Amenities include remote-working lounges with private offices, fitness and yoga studios, gaming and media lounges, a podcast studio, and an indoor sky lounge with private dining space.

Exterior amenities include a private resort-style pool, summer kitchen, outdoor media lounge, and remote-working courtyard.

“The building will be certified Silver under the National Green Building Standard for sustainability,” per the prepared release.

Last year, Aventon began construction on Aventon Crown, a $100 million-plus community with 386 apartment homes in the master-planned community of Crown in Montgomery County, Md.
