Brooks Brown, who started his real estate career at JLL (JLL), is returning to the firm after a dozen years at Tishman Speyer, in the role of managing director, working as part of JLL’s D.C. Agency Leasing team together with Executive Managing Director Amy Bowser.

“It was a great opportunity to join a high-performing Downtown agency team,” Brown told Commercial Observer. “Additionally, as a previous employee of Spaulding & Style/JLL for almost 10 years, it provided me with the opportunity to work with former colleagues again. I feel that JLL has always done an exceptional job representing and advising their clients and it is a privilege to rejoin the team.”

In his new role, Brown will be working with existing clients to help them realize their real estate goals, as well as assisting the JLL team with strategically increasing its Downtown business.

“I’ve known Brooks for 20 years. He is a team-oriented player at the top of his game with tremendous experience and an impeccable reputation,” Bowser told CO. “Brooks will help lead the team. He will be critical to our efforts to maintain the highest level of service for our clients and to building our team’s agency practice and portfolio.”

Together, she believes that their collective experience, relationships and complementary working style will position JLL for great opportunities in the competitive D.C. market.

According to Brown, his goals are to properly leverage the power of the JLL platform to ensure that its clients receive the best service possible.

“I have always had tremendous respect for the work that JLL does—particularly in the D.C. market,” Brown said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to joining the team and working to bring top tenants to some of the District’s most lauded properties.”
