Holt Construction Celebrates 100 Years of Construction Success

Holt Construction is pleased to announce the firm’s celebration of 100 years of successful construction service this year. Founded in Pearl River, New York, in 1919 by Fred L. Holt, the company is one of Rockland County’s oldest firms — and one of the most respected in the New York City metro area. In a century since its foundation, the family-owned business has been a proven industry leader in construction management and general contracting services on a diverse array of projects. Now in the Holt family’s third generation of leadership, Jack Holt, chief executive officer, has continued to expand the firm’s footprint since 1974.

Since its founding, Holt has grown tremendously in both size and reputation, spreading nationally with office locations currently in New York City; Newark, New Jersey; Philadelphia; Boston; Goshen, New York; Houston; and Irving, Texas — with headquarters still in Pearl River. Holt Construction continues to thrive by building lasting business relationships on the strength of a track record of unwavering client service and the successful delivery of complex projects.

Celebrating 100 Years of Achievement

“I am honored to be celebrating 100 years of outstanding hard work, innovation and dedication alongside all my colleagues at Holt,” said Jack Holt, CEO of Holt Construction. “This is a testament to everyone’s contributions, past and present, that helped Holt reach this milestone — and it is a foundation for continued growth, service and success long into the future.”

Holt has a deep and storied history in the construction industry. It was the first construction firm to develop a movable partition system and was the first to open a model home in the United States. Over the past five years, Holt has been ranked in the Top 300 Contractors in the United States by ENR. Holt regularly serves Fortune 500 clients and has one of the nation’s leading employee, subcontractor and client retention records, due to a strong and dedicated team that utilizes state-of-the-art technology and scalable construction practices, all with a focus on building relationships with the industry, clients and employees.

Holt’s recent high-profile projects include the 5th and Sunset retail market in Philadelphia, United Airlines Polaris Club at Newark Airport, Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital Chronic Care Center, Rauxa New York Offices at Brookfield Place, American Airlines Admirals Club at Boston Logan International Airport and the Atlantic Rehabilitation Hospital in Madison, New Jersey.
