Collins Building Services, a facilities management firm, has renewed and expanded its lease to 30,760 square feet at 24-01 44th Road in Long Island City, Queens.

The firm signed a 10-year deal earlier this year to take another 15,380 square feet in the 16-story building, known as Court Square Place, between 24th and Crescent Streets, according to JRT Realty Group, which brokered the deal.

Collins now occupies the entire 12th and 15th floors of 24-01 44th Road. The asking rent was $50 per square foot.

Greg Smith and Lauren Calandriello of JRT represented the tenant and landlord, the United Nations Federal Credit Union (UNFCU).

“Long Island City has been growing into an immersive cultural and economic center that continues to attract new people and businesses alike,” said Smith in a press release. “Court Square Place was one of the pioneering properties that led to the expansion of Long Island City as we know it today.”

Previously, the space was occupied by Nespresso, who left in April 2018 to combine operations with their Manhattan office at 111 West 33rd Street, according to a spokesman for JRT.
