Café Metro is opening its sixth New York City location on the Upper West Side, at 2062 Broadway on the corner of West 71st Street.

The fast-casual dining spot signed a lease for 2,150 square feet, including 1,150 square feet on the ground floor and 1,000 square feet on the lower level.

Steven Baker and Charles Rapuano of Winick Realty Group represented both the tenant and the landlord, The Brodsky Organization.

“We know the building and the area very well,” said Baker. “We knew that ownership was looking for a high-quality, long-term tenant and we felt that Café Metro would be a great complement to the co-tenants in the building.”

Café Metro is owned by ST Management, which also operates fast-casual brands Fresh&Co and Flavors. Between the three brands, ST has more than 20 locations throughout Manhattan.

The company opened a Café Metro in the Garment District in 2018, as CO reported at the time, and has another at 15 MetroTech Center in Downtown Brooklyn.

The building, which has an alternate address of 160 West 71st Street, is an apartment building also known as South Pierre.
