The Wing, the coworking and community space designed for women, has nailed down more than 12,000 square feet at 25 West 39th Street, Commercial Observer can first report.

The company took the entire vacant 11th floor, spanning 12,252, at the Thor Equities-owned 16-story, 210,000-square-foot office building between Fifth Avenue and Avenue of the Americas, according to a release from the landlord. Asking rent was $65 per square foot and the lease is for 10 years, a Thor spokeswoman said.

The building “provides the perfect setting for the company to continue their mission of building a community dedicated to the advancement of women,” Joseph Sitt, the chairman of Thor, said in a statement.

Come the fall, the new Wing space will open with conference rooms, private phone booths, shared work space, a beauty room and a full-service café, per a spokeswoman for The Wing. This will be the company’s fourth location in Gotham, and eighth in the U.S., she noted.

Avison Young’s Arthur Mirante, John Ryan, Patrick Steffens and Dominic Perkovic represented Thor in the transaction along with Adam Lavinsky of Thor. Newmark (NMRK) Knight Frank’s Jeffrey Roseman and John Klein of Accelerator Advisors represented The Wing. Mirante didn’t immediately provide a comment, nor did Roseman or Klein.

Tenants at the property include Spark Labs, Halston, Movado, Seven For All Mankind, VF Jeanswear and Thor’s headquarters. In addition, CO reported last September that The Squash Center, a new not-for-profit squash club, would be opening a facility in a 13,400-square-foot space on the entire fifth floor.
