Hydroponic fertilizer company Advanced Nutrients inked a deal for a 13,500-square-foot lease at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood earlier this month, according to a release from property owner Charles S. Cohen.

The British Columbia-based firm will be relocating its West Hollywood office by taking over space which was formerly occupied by ad agency Dailey & Associates on the third floor of the center’s Green Building. The ad agency, in turn, has built out 20,000-square-feet of space across the hall. The asking rent for the 10-year lease was $4.10 per rentable square foot, according to a spokeswoman for Cohen.

“We are delighted to welcome this forward-thinking company to PDC,” Marc Horowitz, senior vice president and national director of leasing for Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation, who represented PDC in the negotiations, said in a statement.

Marc Bretter, a principal at Cresa, who represented Advanced Nutrients, told Commercial Observer that the tenant chose PDC because of its abundant parking and was “one of the few buildings in the submarket that had sufficient available space for their office relocation.”

The firm, which is currently located at 8000 Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, is expected to occupy the space in the Green Building following a “light renovation” in May, he added.
