reprintsClearView Healthcare Partners, which provides strategic consulting services to life science companies and investors, has landed a deal for over 10,000 square feet in Herald Square, Commercial Observer has learned.
The company took 10,539 square feet at Empire State Realty Trust’s 26-story 728,429-square-foot 111 West 33rd Street between Avenue of the Americas and Seventh Avenue, and will be relocating this fall from 79 Madison Avenue between East 29th and East 30th Streets, as per an ESRT spokeswoman.
“111 West 33rd Street offers unparalleled convenience to mass transportation, the restaurants of NoMad and Broadway Plaza, and the open space of Greeley Square,” Thomas Durels, an executive vice president of real estate for ESRT, said in prepared remarks. “Our recently completed new lobby, elevators and entrances designed by Studios Architecture have attracted a great roster of tenants that includes Nespresso and MSG Ventures.”
While ESRT declined to provide the length of lease it noted that the asking rent was $69 per square foot.
CBRE (CBRE)’s David Stockel represented ClearView in the negotiations while he was at Transwestern. Newmark (NMRK) Knight Frank’s Neil Rubin worked alongside Keith Cody of ESRT in representing the landlord. No one from ClearView responded to a request for comment. Stockel declined to comment and Rubin didn’t provide a comment by publication time.
Office tenants include Macy’s and ESRT’s corporate headquarters. In-building retailers include Foot Locker, Sephora, Target and Hour Passion.
