What’s interesting west of the 405?
A lot, if you’re interested in retail.
There’s the 40,000-square-foot Whole Foods lease, for instance, on Santa Monica Boulevard, and Target signing a lease three blocks from that.
How about Oceanwide Plaza?
They’re getting a Park Hyatt hotel and 150,000 square feet of retail.
But don’t take our word for it. We spoke to Kennedy Wilson‘s Lee Shapiro about these topics and more at this year’s International Council of Shopping Centers’ RECon conference. Here’s what he had to say:[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OpaclKNK0I&w=760]
