More than 8,000 investors, business people and real estate professionals from around the globe flocked to France for the annual three-day MAPIC real estate conference.
The event, held in Cannes from Nov. 16 to 18, featured expert panels, exhibitions, and, of course, networking. There were attendees from 74 countries, and 28 percent of those people were developers. There were also more than 2,000 retailers there, such as Adidas, Burger King and Starbucks, looking to showcase concepts and make connections.
Commercial Observer flew across the Atlantic to be there and here is a behind the scenes look at what went down and some of the big names in attendance.
