United Footwear Group Renews at 10 West 33rd Street

United Footwear Group has signed an early renewal to remain in its headquarters at 10 West 33rd Street in Midtown South, Commercial Observer has learned.
The shoe seller will continue to occupy it’s 4,574-square-foot space on part of the eighth floor of the building between Fifth Avenue and Broadway, which is also known as the Fashion Accessory Center. The lease runs through December of 2020, according to Adams & Co., which represented the tenant in the deal.
In addition to using the space for its offices, it will continue to operate a showroom there. The asking rent in the four-year deal was $54 per square foot. The footwear retailer has been at the building for about 20 years.
“Maintaining its long-established presence at the Fashion Accessory Center was pivotal to United Footwear Group,” David Levy of Adams & Co., who represented the tenant and landlord Ten West Thirty Third Associates, said in prepared remarks. “Key industry suppliers and buyers frequent the building which makes it the utmost in convenience and productivity for all fashion accessory showrooms.”
Recently, apparel company You and Me Legwear signed a five-year renewal for its partial third-floor 4,619-square-foot offices in 10 West 33rd Street, as CO recently reported.
Current fashion tenants in the building include Gina Group, Hobo International, Global Design Concepts and Stone Mountain.
