Peter Levitan and Brendan Reichenbacher of Lee & Associates NYC represented the owner JP Corban while Hank O’Donnell of Crown Retail Services represented the tenant. O’Donnell did not respond to a request for comment.

“Williamsburg has a demographic that embraces organic and natural product brands,” Reichenbacher said in a press release. “With a built-in client base and international brand recognition, Rituals should do exceptionally well in this location.”

Rituals’ Williamsburg outlet is located in the Berry Street retail corridor which houses a number of retailers in the food, drink and clothing sector which include Toby’s Estate Coffee, formal clothing store Kit and Ace, women’s clothing brand Maje and shoe store Madewell. The new store will open in the third quarter of 2016.

“This lease is a testament to the ongoing dynamism of the Williamsburg submarket and interest from foreign companies,” Levitan said in prepared remarks. “The store is on one of the most visible corners on one of the most trafficked shopping corridors in the neighborhood.”
